STEP 1-1

Connect VZ-215D2IP-L to security VMS server or remote viewing server.

It connects just like a typical monitor via HDMI connection.

Then, run an Ethernet cable from VZ-215D2IP-L to the network switch to connect it to your network.

STEP 1-4

Assign an IP address to VZ-215D2IP-L and then enroll that IP address on your VMS as an IP camera channel so that VZ-215D2IP-L can stream and record to your VMS.

STEP 2-1

VZ-215D2IP-L is now set up to stream and record whatever’s being shown on the screen. With that in mind, start navigating through different cameras in sequences as if you were reenacting a theft/shrinkage event.

STEP 2-2

For instance, start with camera #2 where the culprit enters the store, then to camera #5 where the culprit is walking towards an aisle and then eventually camera #9 where the culprit is seen hiding the merchandise into their clothing.

STEP 2-3

These camera sequences have now streamed and recorded to an assigned channel on your VMS for your archival and later viewing.

STEP 3

Once the camera sequences have been archived, you can easily view it as a playback from your VMS server or your remote viewing server or export it to submit to law enforcement as necessary.
