A medical monitor needs to be capable of high brightness in order to meet performance standards. However, in order to achieve high brightness in an LCD panel, the pixel aperture ratio has to be increased. This causes a typically unavoidable decline in sharpness. With ViewZ MSD’s unique Sharpness Recovery technology, the decrease in sharpness (MTF) is restored. This allows you to display an image safely on the monitor that is true to the original source data, even at high brightness levels.
Wide Color Space
The color range of the human eye far exceeds what typical LCD displays can reproduce. The range of color produced by a LCD display is referred to as its “color gamut.” A wide color gamut display produces an image that more closely resembles the range of color of the human eye.
Wide color gamut is often associated with 4K resolution. However, a display’s color gamut is independent of its resolution. The color gamut is a function of the backlight LEDs and color filters used within the LCD panel.
